Graphic Designer

New Pig is seeking a Graphic Designer for its Creative department to build catalog core pages, design engaging print and web marketing materials, sales materials, and product collateral that creatively and consistently reflect the company's brand identity. 

What you will be doing?
  • Supporting New Pig initiatives by creating materials in a style that maintains design standards consistent with the brand
  • Working within templates to build catalog core pages, and as time allows, print and web marketing materials, web images, printed sales materials and product collateral 
  • Collaborating within the Creative Team as well as with outside stakeholders

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Two to three years’ experience working within a design firm, advertising agency or in-house creative team environment
  • Associate degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or related field
  • Strong catalog page-layout skills and experience
  • Excellent typographic and design skills for both print and web
  • Expertise in Adobe InDesign, proficient in Adobe Photoshop, experience in other Creative Suite applications
  • Design experience with a focus on brand, meeting business objectives and business-to-business marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • High motivation and initiative
  • Detail-oriented, high-regard for quality and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Collaborative personality willing to work with Creative Team members and company marketers
  • Ability to think conceptually, brainstorm ideas with other department members
  • Experience with photography art direction a plus
  • Ability to be very flexible and adaptive, shifting direction, tasks and focus as priorities dictate
