Intern - HRIS Project Coordinator (Full-Time/Seasonal)

Position Summary:

This position will assist the HR Project Manager by coordinating activities related to a variety of small to medium size projects. You will also be involved in building a governance process and building out the HRIS knowledgebase, which includes determining what documentation is needed, the format, how to keep it updated, refreshed, and ensure proper controls are in place.

This position is targeted for 40 hours per week as a full time/temporary positions for the summer, and may potentially extend to the end of 2021 depending on business needs and availability of work. This position requires working remotely at first, but may transition to on-site when associates are permitted to return to 
our Corporate offices in a country and suburban setting, 7 miles South of Reading, PA. Our location is a convenient commute with ample free and easy parking.
 
Major Responsibilities:

• Evaluate documentation needed, format, how to keep it updated, refreshed, and ensure proper controls are in place
• Document processes
• Schedule meetings, take and distribute notes, follow up on open items
• Update & maintain project plans
• Assist with drafting and reviewing communications
• Other projects as assigned

• Bachelors degree required 
• Can demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy and is organized
• Possess strong written communication skills
• Familiar with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel. MS Project or SmartSheet a plus.
• Ability to work as Part of a Team and Independently
• Familiarity with Process mapping / documentation is a nice to have skill 
• Experience leading small-medium sized projects is a nice to have experience
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required
