Associate Attorney

The associate attorney will work on a broad spectrum of labor and employment law cases. For Labor and Employment practices, the associate attorney will focus on litigating FMLA, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, Title VII, and related state and local regulations. The duties include (1) counsel clients on employment and labor law issues, conduct investigations, draft responses to administrative charges; (2) conduct courtroom appearances, mediation and arbitration, as well as prepare related legal documents; (3) develop and draft employment handbooks, policies and procedures; (4) prepare for trials and depositions; (5) draft discovery responses, motions, oppositions and other legal documents; (6) recommend settlements; (7) draft and review NDAs, severance agreements, employment agreements; and (8) analyze, study and report on the effects of new city, state and federal legislations, as well as new cases in the federal circuit courts regarding labor and employment issues.
